Derek Gottschall is a Managing Director at 22V Research, joining the firm in August 2024. Before 22V, he spent nine years as Managing Director at Canaccord Genuity (2015-2024). Derek previously had a lengthy tenure at Convergex spanning twenty years (1995-2015), where he also served as Managing Director. He holds a degree in International Relations from William & Mary, graduating in 1994. Derek enjoys playing piano, classical music, golf, and most importantly spending time with his wife of over 25 years and their 2 sons.
