Dauvin Peterson joins 22V with nearly two decades of experience across hedge funds, commodities-focused investing, and data-driven analytics. His career has been centered on fundamental research, idea generation, and portfolio construction, with a focus on energy-related sectors, including chemicals, power, and industrials.
Dauvin has held senior investing roles at several multi-billion-dollar hedge funds, where he implemented process-oriented investment frameworks to generate long and short ideas across both equities and commodities. His investment approach integrates deep fundamental analysis with commodity and macro frameworks to identify asymmetric opportunities.
In addition to his investing experience, Dauvin has held executive leadership roles within technology-enabled businesses, including leading the scaling of a tech-enabled logistics platform and implementing dynamic pricing systems utilizing machine learning and large-scale data analytics.
