Charlie and Ben are Co-heads of Public Equities at Catalio Capital Management. Catalio Public Equities is a long bias, fundamental, bottoms-up equity long/short strategy investing in global healthcare equities across sectors: innovative drugs, devices, diagnostics, and data. The strategy’s investment style is focused on identifying mis-priced risk in clinical, regulatory, intellectual property, manufacturing, commercial, and management.

Ben Snedeker’s Full Bio Below:

Ben Snedeker is a Partner and Co-Head of Public Equities at Catalio Capital Management, LP. He is primarily responsible for co-managing the Catalio Public Equities portfolio, investing across innovative healthcare companies in pharmaceuticals, biotech, medical devices, life science tools, diagnostics and data. He also serves as the Co-Head of Research with a focus on identifying opportunities for the research team to work together on investment opportunities across the life sciences capital structure. Prior to joining Catalio, Ben was Sector Head Therapeutics at HealthCor Management and PointState Capital and began his investing career as a therapeutics analyst and portfolio manager at D.E. Shaw & Co. on the long-short healthcare equities team. Ben was also an Associate Principal at McKinsey & Company in the Global Pharmaceuticals and Medical Products practice and a co-founder of McKinsey’s Philadelphia office. Ben earned his B.S. degree in Chemistry from The Pennsylvania State University and his M.S. degree in Chemistry from Yale University.

 

Charlie Nettleton’s Full Bio Below:

Charlie Nettleton is a Partner and Co-Head of Public Equities at Catalio Capital Management, LP. He is primarily responsible for co-managing the Catalio Public Equities portfolio, investing across innovative healthcare companies in pharmaceuticals, biotech, medical devices, life science tools, diagnostics and data. He serves on the firmwide Management Committee. Prior to joining Catalio, Charlie held a number of roles at HealthCor Management LP. Those roles included Sector Head, Non-Therapeutics across various investment products and Sr. Analyst, Medical devices and life science tools. He also served as President of HealthCor Acquisition Corp. Prior to HealthCor, Charlie was an Analyst in the Healthcare Investment banking group at JPMorgan. On the non-profit side, Charlie serves as a Director of the Evans Scholarship Foundation. Charlie earned dual B.S. degrees in Accountancy and Finance from Villanova University
